London Gatwick granted High Court injunction to prohibit environmental protestors

On 19 July 2024, the High Court granted Gatwick Airport Limited an injunction to prohibit anyone from entering, occupying or remaining on the airport in connection with Just Stop Oil (or other environmental campaign group) without the permission of Gatwick Airport Limited.
Anyone breaching the injunction could be imprisoned for up to two years, fined and/or have their assets seized for contempt of court.
