London, UK, 30 April 2026
  • Healthy eating brand Tossed will open its first ever airport restaurant at London Gatwick’s North Terminal this autumn
  • Passengers can enjoy freshly made salads, wraps and breakfast dishes, alongside new items created specifically for the airport
  • The opening adds to London Gatwick’s growing range of food and drink options – offering passengers even more choice, whatever their journey

From early breakfasts to healthy pre-flight refuelling, London Gatwick passengers will soon be able to enjoy fresh, made-to-order food from high‑street favourite Tossed.

Landing at London Gatwick’s North Terminal this autumn, the new opening marks an important milestone for Tossed, bringing its fresh, healthy food offer to airport passengers for the first time.

Known for its range of freshly made salads and wraps, Tossed will also offer London Gatwick passengers greater choice through an all-day menu, featuring popular breakfast items like scrambled free-range eggs and sourdough toasts, alongside airport-exclusive items including breakfast burritos and a dedicated kids’ menu.

The restaurant will feature large digital ordering screens and order-at-table options, ensuring passengers travelling throughout the day will find an option suited to their needs.

Passengers can also enjoy a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with the restaurant incorporating a reclaimed wooden ceiling and live foliage, designed to offer a calm, modern environment that fits perfectly in the recently refurbished North Terminal.

The Tossed team will bring the same hands-on service and bespoke quality which makes its busy city-centre restaurants so popular.

Stephane Geffroy, Head of Retail, London Gatwick said: “Tossed is a fantastic addition to our North Terminal, offering passengers fresh, made-to-order food that fits perfectly around their journey. It’s great to see such a popular high street brand make its airport debut at London Gatwick.”

Neil Sebba, Managing Director, Tossed said: “Securing a flagship location in one of the UK’s busiest airport terminals is a massive milestone for Tossed. There is a huge, untapped demand for healthier options in travel hubs, and we share a clear vision with London Gatwick on how to meet that need. We’re ready to show passengers that fast food can be fresh, healthy and delicious.”

Tossed’s London Gatwick restaurant is scheduled to open in November 2026 and will join other favourites like Shake Shack, Wagamama and Tortilla.

With around 43m annual passengers, London Gatwick is the UK’s second largest and one of Europe’s top airports. It is a vital piece of national infrastructure that drives both the national and regional economies by generating £5.5bn GVA and supporting over 76,000 jobs (2023). More than 60 airlines fly from the airport to over 160 short-haul and more than 50 long-haul destinations. With a declared maximum capacity of 57 movements an hour, London Gatwick is the most efficient single runway airport in the world.

The airport is located 28 miles south of the UK capital and is extremely well-connected, with more than a quarter of England’s population (15m people) – including all of London – less than one hour away by road or rail. A six-year, £2bn sustainable growth programme includes an ambitious plan to be a net zero airport by 2030 and to increase capacity by bringing the airport’s existing Northern Runway into routine use, alongside its Main Runway.  VINCI Airports owns a 50.01% stake in the airport, with Global Infrastructure Partners managing the remaining 49.99%.

VINCI Airports, as the leading private airport operator in the world, manages the development and operation of more than 70 airports located in 14 countries. VINCI Airports draws on its expertise as a comprehensive integrator to develop, finance, build and operate airports, leveraging its investment capability and know-how to optimise operational performance and modernise infrastructure while bringing about their environmental transition. In 2016, VINCI Airports became the first airport operator to commit to an international environmental strategy, setting itself the aim of reaching zero net emissions (scope 1 and 2) across the network by 2050 while supporting the territories’ local climate transition.
